In Oct ULAD in partnership with the Swiss Chamber presented a seminar on “Motivation: From Motivating to Empowering”. Many European MNC were in attendance such as Schindler, VUZ, Roche just to name a few. The session was very well received as employee motivation is a main challenge for many of these organizations. This coupled with the distinct cultural difference adds a new dimension to gap that exist between the management and the employees.

The key to motivation lies in engaging the employees. Encouraging them to make decisions, take responsibility and mentor them. Employees that feels they belong and appreciated are always more motivated and they are the spokesperson for your organization within their working level. “People remember more what they feel, that what they know”.
