In September 2015, Unique’s team appointed by Lei Shing Hong to work on their project in Shenyang. Mercedes Benz Northeast Center 1st Phase project. We are selected as a partner is a testament of our professionalism and growing reputation.

This project is the largest complex 4s shop in Northeast China by Lei Shing Hong Shenyang Mercedes Benz. Lei Shing Hong group has five major businesses in promising high-growth markets. It is a major retailer of premium automobiles including Mercedes-Benze, Porsche and SMART in Northeast Asia. In heavy machinery, it distributes a wide range of Caterpillar products. Lei Shing Hong is a successful property developer and investor in Beijing and Shanghai, while it’s trading activities focus on wood-based products, watch components and fertilizers. The Group also has a range of interest in finance and investment services.

Lei Shing Hong Shenyang Mercedes Benz Northeast Center 1st Phase project covers an area of 12065 ㎡, with a total construction area of 57668 ㎡. This project includes 3 levels of car pack basement (including retail area 1800m2), 4 levels of Autohaus and 9 levels of office building. Time frame for this project is 18 months (from September 2015 to December 2016), and the Project has already gain recognition by the Liaoning authorities being awarded construction engineering ‘Century’ award and also Shenyang city construction engineering ‘Rose’ award.

This project has several unique challenges; harsh conditions, especially in fall and winter where air quality deteriorates and temperature drop to sub-zero. With a tight timeline and a total shutdown during the winter months, Unique has implemented a 24 hours, 7 days work. Ensuring the highest of standards are adhered, Unique’s team works round the clock in shifts. This includes the management personnel, security officers as well as safety officers. Due to the accelerated nature of work, there is about 500 of general workers on site and Unique has developed over 10 professionals to be on-site.

As safety is our preeminent concern, we have implemented several measures, such as CCTV, ID and finger print check. In inculcate safety philosophy in the site personnel, we have safety training, site walks as well as empowering them to stop works should they feel certain unsafe performing a task. Unique believes safety is the foundation of quality. Safety is cost effective and today, we have achieve incident free site with over 500,000 man hours.
