This maiden event, held in Kerry Hotel was jointly organized by the Malaysia embassy in China and the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce was geared to supporting two worthy cause. The first is the China Youth Development Foundation, that organizes art and training classes for primary school students in Yunnan Province. The other is a group of Malaysian children in need of liver transplant in Renji Hospital Shanghai. Unique was given the privileged to be an event sponsor. The highlight of the event was the silent auction, where Unique had 2 winning bids; a Honma putter and jewelry designed by Datin Fairos Ishak. The event was an overwhelming success with over RMB2,000,000 raised.
